AVISO DE TRÁFICO EXTENDIDO: El progreso del mantenimiento del puente Gists Creek se ve afectado por el clima

The City of Sevierville Street Department has extended the traffic advisory period for work on the Douglas P. Bishop Bridge on Gists Creek Road. The bridge spans the Little Pigeon River between Highway 66 and Old Knoxville Highway.

Adverse weather conditions have been affecting maintenance progress, resulting in extensions of the projected completion date. The bridge rail cleaning is now anticipated to be completed by the end of the day on Friday, May 27.

Right traffic lane closures in both directions across the bridge are required to safely perform the maintenance. Motorists should watch for changing traffic patterns and be aware of workers and equipment in the area.
