Se establece la ruta de la procesión del alcalde Atchley; los residentes están invitados a verla en el Ayuntamiento

The procession route proceeding from Mayor Atchley’s funeral service at First Baptist Church to his interment at Atchley’s Seymour Memorial Gardens has been finalized.

The funeral service is scheduled to begin at 2:00PM this Sunday, December 16. At the conclusion of the service, the procession will leave First Baptist Church and turn left (north) onto the Parkway; turn right (east) onto Bruce Street; turn left (north) onto Gary Wade Boulevard; and turn left (west) onto Dolly Parton Parkway/Main Street and proceed to Seymour on Chapman Highway.

Residents are invited to view the procession and pay their respects to Mayor Atchley and his family at City Hall as the procession moves past and turns onto Dolly Parton Parkway.

It is anticipated that the procession will approach City Hall on Bruce Street between 2:45PM-3:15PM. To avoid stopped traffic and lane closures, it is recommended that residents arrive at City Hall no later than 2:40PM.
