Parks and Recreation Hike: Rich Mountain Loop

The Sevierville Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled a hike of Rich Mountain Loop in Cades Cove Tuesday, September 20. This guided hike is FREE and limited to ten participants. Participants must be at least 18-years old and provide their own transportation to a meeting location. Meeting time and location to be provided after registration.
This loop hike offers views of a waterfall, a seldom-used campsite, the old Rich Mountain fire tower location, an in-tact settler’s cabin, and views of Cades Cove and Townsend from a quiet loop of trails. It is a moderate to strenuous 8.5-mile loop hike. For an elevation profile and further description of the hike to Andrews Bald, visit PLEASE NOTE that we will be hiking this loop counter-clockwise.
